The beds were super cozy, making it an ideal spot for relaxation after a long day. I absolutely loved the delicious food at the restaurant with fantastic prices, truly a hidden gem! The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, like Riverside Park and the Kamloops Art Gallery.

The breakfasts were excellent, with lots of options including Indian dishes. The room was comfortable with a large desk and dresser, which I found helpful during my 11-night stay.

perfect base for exploring parks and city attractions

during my stay, I loved the easy walk to Riverside Park, just 500 meters away, and the vibrant Kamloops Art Gallery, which was less than a 5-minute stroll, making it so simple to take in the city's sights and natural beauty.

this was my first stay at the doubletree, and it pleasantly surprised me! the beds were super cozy, making it a great overnight stop. the restaurant had super delicious food, adding to the overall experience.

the hot tub was unavailable during my stay.

The breakfast options here surprised me—plenty to choose from that go beyond the usual fare. The room was clean and equipped with a spacious desk for work, making long stays more manageable.

The hotel itself could use a serious cleaning. the carpets were stained and appeared neglected, particularly on the second floor. I booked a room for three but felt cramped. there was only one chair available, and I had to request extra towels. It also didn't help that the lounge closed early on a Saturday, cutting off options for a late-night drink after driving in. The bathroom felt small and cramped, which didn’t add to the comfort of the stay.

oh, how I almost gave this place a good review with its friendly staff, but then I noticed the abysmal state of the elevators and that the ice machine was out of order. I expected at least a water bottle, since they charge for it. unbelievable lack of attention to detail, consider yourself warned.

This was just a well-suited match for a flying visit in Kamloops with great value-to-price ratio. The staff were really accommodating—I appreciated them serving us dinner even when we arrived late. Check for dining hours to avoid disappointment if you’re around for late meals.

the room had a small bar fridge and a kettle for convenience. parking was tight and limited.

Recommend it for a family with children

The staff was pretty accommodating, helped me sign up for the Hilton rewards without a hitch, and I really appreciated that they provided warm cookies at check-in! we were in a queen room which was kept clean and felt cute even if the space was a little tight.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got, I think it was still acceptable.
